We are a small program of 12 residents within the larger Brigham and Women’s Hospital Internal Medicine residency family.

All inpatient training in our program takes place at BWH and affiliated institutions, the Faulkner Hospital and the West Roxbury VA Hospital. BWH is recognized as one of the country’s top academic medical centers and a preeminent site for residency training in internal medicine.

During inpatient rotations, no distinctions exist between our residents and other internal medicine trainees. BWH housestaff care for patients on general medicine, subspecialty, and ICU services, work with world-class faculty teachers, and participate in a wide variety of educational conferences and seminars.

Our residents have access to the BWH Department of Medicine’s broad array of educational, research and mentoring activities, while also enjoying the intensive small-group learning and flexibility afforded by our unique program.
